Handling Rejection

so this girl

This girl was purposely ignoring me, and would rather entertain men who I clearly look better than. One time, me and my friend were having a conversation about a topic, then she joins in, of course i am willing to answer her questions. But she ignored me in front of my face, and just talked to my friend, i try to butt in because I know this topic more than everyone in the room. I feel so humiliated and feel bad to myself, one day I exploded, I am tired of this treatment, where she would constantly ignore me, and  play with my feelings. So I punched myself out of anger and spite to myself and for everyone, until I got a blackeye for myself and was suspended multiple times because of it. I dont understand how she would entertain and just be normal to other guys other than me, I am clearly nice to all these people here, especially to her, why is she like that? Why are women like that? Am I not nice enough to them? I look good, I am clealy good looking, I am atleast better than 50% of my class.

Being ignored in front of other people can feel humiliating, especially when you already feel rejected. I’m sorry you were hurting that badly. But punching yourself until you had a black eye is serious, and it won’t make her understand you or treat you differently—it only harms you. Please tell a trusted adult, school counselor, parent, teacher, or doctor what has been happening. If you feel like hitting yourself again, move away from anything you could use to hurt yourself, go where other people are, and tell someone immediately. You shouldn’t have to manage that urge alone. As for the girl, being nice or good-looking doesn’t guarantee someone’s attention. She may feel more comfortable with your friend, may not be interested in you, or may simply choose who she wants to speak with. That can hurt, but it doesn’t mean she is “playing with your feelings,” and it isn’t something women collectively do. Also, repeatedly trying to interrupt because you believe you know more than everyone may have felt uncomfortable or overwhelming to her, even if you intended to help. The healthiest move now is to stop chasing her attention, give her space, and keep any necessary interactions polite and brief. Don’t compare yourself with the other guys—attraction and comfort aren’t rankings based on appearance. The biggest issue here isn’t whether you are attractive enough. It’s that rejection is triggering so much anger and self-hatred that you are injuring yourself. That deserves real support, not another suspension or people telling you to simply control yourself. Please speak honestly to an adult about the black eye, the previous incidents, and what you feel right before you hit yourself.
