I get why that hurts. Feeling overlooked again and again can make it seem like people are deliberately choosing “worse” options over you, and that can really mess with your confidence.
But attraction isn’t a ranking system. Someone choosing another person doesn’t mean they objectively think that person is better-looking than you. People connect over humor, comfort, timing, shared values, confidence, familiarity, and dozens of other things that aren’t visible from the outside.
It may also help to be honest about the way you’re framing this. Women don’t owe anyone attention or love for being attractive, just like you wouldn’t owe a relationship to someone simply because other people considered her good-looking. Thinking of other men as “less attractive” can turn dating into a competition and make every rejection feel like an insult.
Your disappointment is valid, but “I’m done with women” will probably isolate you more and reinforce the belief that everyone is against you. Take a break from dating if you need one. Focus on friendships, social confidence, and meeting people without treating every interaction as a test of your worth. You deserve mutual interest, but it has to be freely given—not won by being the best-looking person in the room.
